2. 9/23 - Anniversary Show @ Fitzgerald's (Houston)
-Come celebrate good ol' Fitz's 1st anniversary show since Pegstar's smooth takeover of the venue. We'll be playing alongside Indian Jewelry, The Watermarks, Tense, and many many more! Should be a blast.

3. 10/4 - UT Student Fest @ The Blanton Museum of Art (Austin)

August 2011 (Summer Updates)

Ok. Moving past the mundane "how's your summer been" banter, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. We've got some incredible stuff lined up to start your semester off on the right foot. and here is a little snippet..

WE'RE OPENING FOR EL TEN ELEVEN NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE.

Confirm that shizz cause we'd love to see you there. Especially Sean Kozar-King, whose 21st birthday is on the 20th and I'll know you'll be on 6th street celebrating anyway. Stumble your way a few streets over to us, buddy.

In other news, we just performed on KVRX's Local Live radio program a couple of hours ago. The whole deal was recorded (very well i might add, thanks Curtis), so expect a nice live album soon. This means the very new, unrecorded till now, highly desirable version of our latest single Condensation is in our hands. and soon to be in yours. all along with our other greatest hits and a well spoken interview from the band. Exciting!

Believe me, there is some serious stuff in the pipes right now. You'll see as the months progress, so fasten your belts partnahs.

Cheers,
Michael

February 2011 (Let the Shows Commence)

As promised, Benny and I have set up many a performance for the band to showcase its talents this month.

Febrary 5th @ Maggie Mae's
-Pale Horse will be joining us from the far away land they call "Dallas, Texas". These super legit/cool guys put on quite a show last time and it wold be a shame for you to miss them. So, come on down to 6th street (assuming you're of legal drinking age), for a fun filled show at a historic venue.

February 25th @ Old School BBQ
-6th & Waller is where the guys from Old School BBQ set up shop in their renovated yellow bus and serve up quite a tasty treat. Our buds from Skanky Possum are setting this one up and are currently in the midst of putting together a Skanky Showlist to inform you of the family's upcoming shindigs. Subscribe to their email to get the latest news! The bands on the bill will be epic without a doubt. GO LOCAL.

In other news,

-February 12th we play a live in-studio performance on KVRX. The invite came from Audrey who hosts her radio show on Saturday nights from 12-1 am . TUNE IN, AUSTINITES.

-We are all over our keyboards planning shows for South By Southwest 2011 in March. As of late, we are looking at 5 shows TBA, including a house show of titanic proportions at Benny's in South Austin. Old friend, Caddywhompus is rumored to be down too, so I wouldn't miss it if I were you..

-The new Album is done, and I know we've been saying that for a while. Here's why: The songs are all ready, but we're waiting on prolific artist and all-around good girl Ashley Tsai to ready the art. Also, album titles like "Caught In The Crossfire", "Passerby", "As If Nothing's Changing" and "What's The Deal With Your Friends?" are being tossed around between the guys we can't seem to decide what to call our masterpiece yet. Tell us what you think the name should be on our Facebook page.

I'll leave you with sweet pics fond friend of the band Nicole Christians took at our shows last month.

Big Top:

Fitzgerald's:
That's all for now,
Michael

January 2011 (Back To School)

The break is over and we're heading back to Austin!

The January 7th show at Fitzgerald's was a hit!
Thanks to Papaya, The Rivers, and Featherface for accompanying us and bringing out loads of lovely faces. Also, thank you Fabian Vargas for creating (albeit, at the last minute) an amazing looking flyer.
But wait, there's more!

We play Fat Tony's MAIN STREET BLOCK PARTY on the 22nd. Trust me, it's gonna be a huge day party and you're probably gonna want to be there, if you're still in Houston.

February is looking promising as well. We've got bunches of shows lined up for ya in Austin, but you'll have to wait for the next edition of this publication to find out the details.

Until then, we'll catch you back in the ATX around campus, or at Benny's house. John is bringing a snow cone machine back up with him. But keep that on the hush-hush.

Regards,
Michael
